“ Small menu. Good food. Served in plastic with plastic utensils. I guess it’s easier for them. Seems to be a tad not environmentally friendly. Not horribly priced considering not much else around if your carless. Friendly staff. 2nd visit. Still a smaller menu. At first prices seemed high and probably are but portion sizes are not bad. I would definitely recommend this location. Not to many options in this area especially if you are carless. 3rd visit. Menu seems to be improving. All food is fresh and tasty. Good serving sizes. Friendly service I did want dessert and ordered it. But was brought the bill instead Still a good choice as there aren’t many. ”
“ Great bar, tables are not on top of each other. Food was outstanding. Shrimp tacos the best ever. Worth the walk from our hotel. Inside Hyatt ”
“ When you've already turned in the rental car you're a bit limited to your closest choices, but this was a great pick. We had no wait and service was fast and efficient. I went for the PoBoy and he and the Crab Cakes burger and there was nothing left when we finished! They also have a pretty good selection of local beers to pick from. ”
“ Jamal was absolutely phenomenal while tending to us during a business meeting. He was patient, understanding, and incredibly helpful while we were looking for an effective environment. 5 stars to him and his team! ”
“ Server John's service is the epitome of southern hospitality. Would recommend to anyone in the College Park area. Food is great and very reasonable prices. Service so great I came back again. 2nd night I didn't get waited on by John but the waitress was just as sweet. ”
“ This is the best hotel restaurant I've dined at...for any Marriott property. I've been here twice now, and on both occasions had a great dinner. The service is really good...the staff is really friendly...and even when it's very busy, everyone is engaged with you. Great service from Lynette. I ordered the country style grilled chicken fingers as my appetizer and the grilled stack salmon for the main course. Both times...it's been incredible. ”
“ We stayed at the SpringHill Suites across the street so it was just a 2-3 minute walk. This was our first time trying at a "Gateway" hotel - it won't be the last. The Champions restaurant was suggested by the SpringHill staff as they are all part of the Marriott family anyway. What stood out to me most was the attentiveness and how each new arrival was greeted right away. I like that - even if you're busy you can at least acknowledge that you 're aware of a new customer's presence. And the staff here went well above that. The food was good. The staff and atmosphere were great. ”
“ I landed into Atlanta at 11:30 PM. My plane had been delayed. No airport food vendors were open. By the time I got to my airport hotel it was midnight. I went across the street to Champion restaurant to get some food. I hadn’t eaten for hours. Their grill closed at midnight. But Shewit Tesfay, server asked her manager Stephen Sumter what to do as I was tired and desperate . Stephen was so generous and helpful! He asked the cooks and they made me some great food. I am so grateful for Shewit and Stephen’s kindness!!! I ordered the chicken wings and a chocolate milkshake. They were very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. ”
